Transdisciplinary artist from São Paulo (BR). Currently based in the mountains of Rio de Janeiro (BR) She earned a Master in architecture and urbanism in Escola da Cidade, in São Paulo, Permaculture Design in Casa da Cidade (2017) and interactive media design in the Royal Academy of Arts in Den Haag (NL). Through installations, urban interventions, performances and multiple pedagogical programs, her work explores human and landscape performativity, rituals of temporal spatialities, as well as affect and symbolical construction as materials for spaces, belonging and agency. She works at the intersection of art, architecture, politics and education to challenge perceptual conventions and to open the possibility of new imaginaries. Marcella is also an experimental dancer, cook, creator of experiences in the intersection of art, ecology and culture.

Marcella has exhibited and performed at the Venice Architecture Biennale, Bienal de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de Chile, We Make the CIty Festival, Museum of Image and Sound MIS SP, Bienal de Arquitetura São Paulo, SESC Pompeia, Centro Cultural São Paulo CCSP, Mostra Ecofalante, Virada Sustentável, among others. She has been invited as a speaker at ELEA Atacama, EASA Croatia, Being Festival, Festival Ressonar, Festival Internacional de Cinema Ambiental FICA; and as a lecturer at Roskilde University, University of the Arts London UAL, Royal Academy of Arts in Den Haag, Talca School of Architecture, FAAP Faculdade Álvares Penteado SP, Senac, Faculdade de Arquitetura Mackenzie.
